Today’s lecture, I studied on naming nature. It’s so fascinating that there are thousands or maybe millions of naming organisms. Taxonomy is known as putting a name to an organism. Well, luckily we didnt study each and ever single names of it but we just learn how they should be written when we’re typing or writing them, how they are given according to their species and if the founder find the name, his/her name should be stated towards the end of the names of the living organism.

The latter showed that the person who named the living organisms could claim that he/she was the first one found the name if there is a disagreement about the naming of them. This is sometimes accompanied by the date of naming. I was so overwhelmed when thinking on how people would disagree on claiming names. It reminds me back, whoever that person who claimed that species are named by him/her but actually Allah taught/gave him idea on naming those organisms.

It relates on everything in this world. Sometimes I do wonder, how could human think about names like iPod, handphone, veil, koala bear,  environment, physics, and not to mention those sophisticated scientific names like Cyperus papyrus, Oreochromis shiranus, Caiman.….Actually everything comes from Allah …. =) Subhanallah….

Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: “I will create a vicegerent on earth.” They said: “Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?” He said: “I know what ye know not.” And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: “Tell me the names of these if ye are right.” (2:30-31)

Subhanallah…….He is The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful…….

Ya Rabb, please forgive me and let me be in those who always feel thankful to You.

-suddenly I remember what had happened this morning when we’re on our way back to my place…. MashaAllah..what a bless morning though I’d to rush a bit. But may his sayings come to reality in one day….nevertheless isnt that whatever come out from our mouth is considered dua? inshaAllah…bi iznillah ameen ya Rabb! -

Aku mengorak langkah

namun aku takut disebabkan aku ianya menjadi fitnah…

yang disebut-sebut oleh para malaikat

namun cukupkah segala usaha dan amal yang aku lakukan untuk mendamba redhaNya

cukupkah utk aku bersua denganNya di jannah FirdausNya?

Sungguh banyak benda yang patut dilakukan untuk meraih cintaNya

namun kekadang rasa terbelakang dengan amal yg sedikit

ingin menjadi seperti umat yang terawal

tapi layakkah diri ini?

Kekadang kita pikir ianya adalah sangat susah untuk menyampaikan kalam Allah swt dan mengikut sunnah nabi tercinta, Muhammad saw. Walaubagaimanapun yang paling menyedihkan adalah apabila kita menyedari hakikat pentingnya untuk menyampaikan dan menyambung risalah yang dibawa oleh Nabi Muhammad saw dan para sahabat, tabiin, tabi’ tabiin dan tabi’ tabi’ tabiin namun kita masih tidak mahu melangkah sedikit kehadapan.

Masih ingat kata-kata seorang murabbi, “Yang penting kita buat kerja tu, buat je….” Tapi masih ada yang teragak-agak hendak melakukannya sebab dia merasa dia belum cukup ilmu, dia belum rasa dia berkeupayaan untuk bergerak, tak tahu di mana hendak bermula, nak tarbiyyah diri sendiri dahulu. Lagi sedih apabila mendengar keluhan dari seorang yang pada mulanya bersemangat hendak bergerak menyampaikan kalimah Allah swt tetapi tetiba kalah pada emosi, kalah pada masalah-masalah, kalah pada keadaan sekeliling dan paling menyedihkan apabila dia berpikir negative pada keupayaan diri sendiri dan keupayaan akhwats sekelilingnya.

Diri kitalah yang menentukan samada kita hendak menyambung tali rantai yang dibawa oleh orang-orang terdahulu sebelum kita ataukah kita hendak memutuskan tali itu mulai dari diri kita?

Adakah kita hendak membiarkan bahtera yang berjalan membawa risalah ini walaupun dengan kelajuan yang tidak cepat untuk menuju kegemilangan islam, berlalu diahdapan kita dan meninggalkan kita?

Semuanya bermula dengan diri kita, adakah kita membenarkan diri kita untuk maju kedepan atau sebaliknya?

Dan Allah tidak menjadikan bantuan tentera malaikat itu melainkan kerana memberi khabar gembira kepada kamu dan supaya kamu tenteram dengan bantuan itu dan (ingatlah bahawa) pertolongan yang membawa kemenangan itu hanya dari Allah Yang Maha kuasa, lagi Maha Bijaksana.

Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah Allah izinkan untuk terus bernafas di muka bumiNya ini.

Bila teringat kembali kenangan silam, sungguh, aku bersyukur Allah telah mengizinkan diri yang dhoif ini untuk mengenal erti sebenar cinta kepadaNya. Allah telah membukakan pintu mata hati ini untuk terus berada di jalanNya. Memang, aku akui, bukan senang untuk melalui liku-liku hidup yang Allah sudah takdirkan untuk diri ini, namun aku percaya semuanya memang ada keindahan yang menanti.

Bila diingat kembali, betapa jahil dan bongkaknya diri ini untuk tunduk patuh dalam ajaranNya, aku malu namun aku bersyukur kerana Allah Yang Maha Pengasih mengizinkan diri ini untuk masih mencariNya walaupun aku sering melupakanNya. Hanya ingat semasa susah, hanya ingat semasa sakit, hanya ingat semasa membutuhkan keperluan hidup dariNya…… Memang Allah sangat Penyayang, Dia tidak membiarkan diri ini terus sesat dengan keindahan dunia dan janji-janji manis para syaitan dan sekutunya.

Moga tahun ini akan lebih baik dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Moga diri ini akan menjadi salah seorang akhwats yang terbaik di sisi Allah swt. Jom usaha untuk capai jannah FirdausNya dan lebih penting lagi untuk bersua dengan Sang Khaliq di syurga nanti, Ameen Ya Rabb!

It’s been nearly 2 months I’m here in this place and 2 exams’re done and 4 more exams to come and 1 of them is in 3 weeks time. *sigh* =)

I went to Jumuah prayer last Friday to hear the khutbah and it’s my first time I experienced it in here. The khutbah was really touching. I’ll try to share some bits that I got from attending it and hopefully we all can share the good benefits from it. Bi iznillah

First point that I got was that, when we perform our deeds, ask ourselves, do we perform them in our best effort/attempt? Sometimes we just take easily on what we do. We do it for the sake of doing it not doing it with our full, best and excellent  effort and I do realise it too…. Walhal dalam Kitab Allah swt, Allah mentioned that we, we the Ummah Nabi Muhammad saw are the BEST ummah and thus we’ve to be the Best amongst the best!

Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah . If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors. (3:110)

As we are the best ummah and the best mankind that Allah has created, thus we should always seek help sincerely from Allah . There’re reasons why Allah creates and destroys mankind. One of them is to see which one of us will do our best in performing everything in this world. Try to do everything by ourselves if we know that we can handle it….. Don’t really depend to human being but do rely and always ask help from Allah .

Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, “We believe”, and that they will not be tested? We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false. (29:2-3)

And while we’re doing our ibadah(not only syahadah, solah, fast,zakat dan haji, but if everything that we do is based on niat Allah swt, then it is called ibadah), have we ever asked Allah to please receive our fast, our solah, our good deeds in that month? Have we ever ponder to ask Allah to accept all the good deeds that we do? When the brother said that, it really put an ouch on me, a huge ouch thou….. Have I ask Allah to accept everything that I do? I know that I have to do all stuffs because Allah asked me to do so…but sometimes I forgot to ask Allah to accept on what I’m doing….. MashaAllah…Allah telah sedarkan balik hambaNya ini utk sentiasa balik dan meminta-minta hanya kepadaNya.

I apology for my absence in writing here. ^^’ I know it’s been ages? Huhu! Alhamdulillah Allah gives me strength to write here again though I know not many ppl read this huhu!

Being in new enviro and taking new course in which calculator is not my so-called-bestfriend anymore, it’s so challenging and stressing I should say. First day of commencing myself to my course was HORROR! Seriously! I was panicked! I kept on asking my self why oh why in the first place I agreed to persue my study, why oh why I wanted to do it in new place! I’m so not confident on taking this course. =( *argh!* Astagafirullahalazim! When I thought again, Allah ’s put me into this that means Allah knows this is the best for me. Actually I knew why I wanted to be here and inshaAllah the answer for all my questions is because of Him, Allah . bi iznillah!

Actually when I think again, Allah really loves me =’) He knows what is the best for me. He knows how I really wanted to go to this place before, back to last 3 years ago. He arranged it so well and so nice that when I thought back, Ya Rabb, sungguh baiknya Allah ! Memang benar, rupa-rupanya hujan yang selama ini berlaku, Allah nak hadiahkan pelangi yang sangat lawa….Cantiknya arrangement yang Allah beri dan sediakan. Ana selalu terlupa, apabila nak satu benda tu tapi Allah tak izinkan dulu, ana akan rasa sedih teramat sgt =(…but actually Allah tunggu masa yang sesuai baru Dia berikan….Allahu Akhbar! =’)

Seseorang mukmin tidak layak bersedih, kecuali jika berkaitan dengan urusan akhiratnya….

Sesuatu ketika, Ibrahim bin Adham berjalan melewati seorang lelaki yang taur wajahnya mencerminkan kegalauan, kesedihan dan kerisauan. Ibrahim kemudian berkata kepadanya,”Wahai fulan, saya ingin bertanya kepadamu tentang 3 perkara yang harus kamu jawab!”

Lelaki itu berkata, “Silakan!”

Pertanyaan pertama,”Apakah di alam semesta ini ada yang berlaku selain dari yang dikehendaki Allah swt?”

Lelaki itu menjawab,”Sama sekali tak ada.”

Pertanyaan kedua,”Apakah kadar rezeki yang telah ditentukan Allah swt untukmu pernah berkurang?” Lelaki itu menjawab,”Sama sekali tidak.”

Pertanyaan ketiga,”Apakah usia yang telah dituliskan Allah swt untukmu pernah berkurang?”

Akhirnya, Ibrahim berkata, “Jika demikian, buat apa bersedih?”

It’s so deep for me and it really makes me think. Hopefully I will remember this and ask my self on why should I be sad….Moga Allah berikan kekuatan dan ingatan yang kuat amin!

My course is more into humanity than I was expected. Maybe I should officially say so long to my 10 years calculator…or not, as I will need it for my financial budget or I shouldnt use the word budget as the meaning of budget is ….. oh nvm Anyhoo…..I learn almost new stuffs each and every single day in my lectures and at the mo, I’m learning 2 modules which are Water and Enviromental Sanitation and Management for sustainability. My coursemates are brilliant and awesome! The lecture room’s never dull without the laughter. Ada2 saja setiap hari and today I was being bullied by my coursemates! erks! But they are nice actually and I guess in the lecture I was the most quitest person as I was totally blank and couldnt really think of the ques. Well ada plg, but lambat! My brain is not working as fast as them! I really envy them! So jealous! They really know the subjects! =( Or may be I should eat kismis everyday? perhaps? ermz….heehee

I think Im beginning to like my course as I said it’s more into humanity than numbers! Although I really love numbers to the berry, but somehow humanity is nt that bad isnt? It’s more into how we should save other peoples’ living by providing them water in terms of drinking water, proper sanitation for their health and dignity. At the same time allowing them to enjoy their live as others do by not charging them too much on stuffs they’re using. When I think again, this is so like being in Islam where we really want people to live their lives like others. Bila pikir lagi, org2 yg sepatutnya keluarkan zakat, ia sebenarnya membantu org2 susah dan ahirnya will lead to no such thing as poverty exist in this world. How simple is that right?

That means that if you practise islam as your way of living or should I say that, if we all practise it, then all of us is living in a peace place. Allah has mentioned this earlier in His book, Al-Quranul Kareem.

(Our religion is) the Baptism of God: And who can baptize better than God? And it is He Whom we worship. (2:138)

O ye who believe! Enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the evil one; for he is to you an avowed enemy.(2:208)

Living in this world is very nikmat to all of us. Allah gives us air, especially O2 for us to breath, then Allah gives sun for us to know it’s day and moon to ganti panasnya hari dengan berhiaskan bintang-bintang yg berkelip. Subhanallah.

Sesungguhnya Tuhan kamu ialah Allah Yang Menciptakan langit dan bumi dalam enam masa lalu Dia bersemayam di atas Arasy; Dia melindungi malam dengan siang yang mengiringinya dengan deras (silih berganti) dan (Dia pula Yang Menciptakan) matahari dan bulan serta bintang-bintang, (semuanya) tunduk kepada perintahNya. Ingatlah, kepada Allah jualah tertentu urusan menciptakan (sekalian makhluk) dan urusan pemerintahan. Maha Suci Allah Yang Mencipta dan Mentadbirkan sekalian alam. (7:54)

Tapi…..we always forgot these nikmat(s) that He’s given us…Nah? Yah!….We do always lupa!! We only remember when one of these nikmat is slowly taken from us. Bila nikmat sihat diambil, baru terasa bahawa kesihatan itu sgt penting! And even benda/orang yang tani sayang adalah satu nikmat yang Allah beri kepada tani. Semalam bila cakap-cakap dgn orang yg tersayang, terasa pada diri sendiri. “Allah akan uji kita dengan benda yang kita paling sayang.” Then I asked them what/who do they love the most then  I reflect myself and it’s so true!!!!! Bila teringat akan benda/orang yang disayang, memang terasa, memang betul ujian yang Allah berikan. Sebab Allah nak tengok, sejauh mana cinta kita terhadapNya dari benda/orang yang kita sayang itu.

When things seem not to go as I’d planned, it makes me think that there must be something wrong. And that is the time when we want someone to hear all our whinings, all our kusutness, and sometimes when we try to find the Best Listener, it’s very hard…. I’m one of the kind who don’t really talk about how I feel to anyone, I like to keep it to my self..well most of the time..I don’t know why…I only shared to my-so-called-other-half & bestfriend but one day, when I know that there’s someone that always with me for all these times but I tend to forget about Him, and always waiting for me to whine to Him, He’s nobody but Allah swt. =’)

But I see it as an obstacle for Allah to me. I ask so many things at Him and it’s the time He wants to see do I really want it, am I able to be patient on waiting for it? And the thing is we always say the word shad-ba-ra in theory, so when Allah gives obstacles, Allah wants us to practise our theory that we’d been study for all these times and Allah wants to upgrade our iman plus Allah memang akan sentiasa dengan tani sebab Allah dah mention dalam Quran yang Allah akan sentiasa bersama-sama dengan orang yang sabar. We always asked at least 17 times in our solat to Allah to show us the right path, the way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray (1:6&7), and to be in that right path as we wish is not gonna be that piece of cake of course! How our beloved Prophet Muhammad saw and the sahabahs worked so hard to make Islam as a victory and we know the problems and obstacles they had to go through weren’t that easy. They faced really hard time to practise islam. So memang iman dorang sangat kuat sebab ujian-ujian yang Allah berikan kepada mereka pun sangat kuat.

Teringat cerita tentang Nusaibah, sahabiah&keluarganya yang dijanjikan untuk bersama-sama dengan Rasulullah saw di jannah nanti. Pengorbanan sahabiah ini sangat luar biasa kepada Islam dan cintanya kepada Allah dan Rasul sangat tinggi. Dia&keluarganyalah yang menjadi pembenteng nabi Muhammad saw semasa perang Uhud di mana hampir semua orang pada masa itu turun dair bukit Uhud untuk mengambil harta peperangan. Selepas perang tersebut, nabi tahu bahawa terdapat banyak sangat luka-luka yang terdapat di badannya. Banyak lagi pengorbanan sahabiah&keluarganya tersebut yang mana memang selayaknya mereka dapat bersama-sama nabi Muhammad saw di jannah nanti….. Beruntungnya!

Semoga kita semua beroleh kejayaan untuk sama-sama bersama para anbiya’ dan lebih-lebih lagi bersama nabi Muhammad saw di jannah nanti! ameen!
